Tengu When we first saw the flock, we were surrounded, caught in a spectacle of stimuli. Brilliant colors, dancing lights, beautiful cacophonies, wafting ambrosia. Those birds surrounded us, each one a different shape, an altered species, a new wonder. I tried to follow a single bird, but my efforts were futile: Transformation is natural to their existence. Imagine it: an undulating mass, a changing mob, all those beasts partaking in wonderful transmogrification.

These were our augurs, our deliverers, our saviors. Standing amidst the flock, we should have feared their glory; instead, we drew hope. This moment is the first time I understood what it meant to be Caldari: Divinity in the flock, delivery in flux, one being, many changes.

Note that the defensive subsystems have different amounts of shield and armor and also control shield recharge time, so some will be better for passive/buffer than others, etc. They all give the same resists.

  • Tengu electronics "Dissolution Sequencer" - 15% bonus to sensor strength, 5% to targeting range/level -- 1 low, 3 med
  • Tengu electronics "Emergent Locus Analyzer" - 10% bonus to scan strength of probes, 20% to range and velocity of tractor beams/level -- 4 med
  • Tengu electronics "Obfuscation Manifold" 10% bonus to ECM target jammer optimal range/level -- 4 med

Also controls sensor strength, targeting range, CPU, scan resolution, and these vary by subsystem as well.


  • Tengu engineering "Augmented Capacitor Reservoir" - 5% bonus to capacitor capacity/level -- 2 low, 1 high, 1 launcher
  • Tengu engineering "Capacitor Regeneration Matrix" - 5% bonus to capacitor recharge rate/level -- 3 low
  • Tengu engineering "Power Core Multiplier" - 5% bonus to power grid/level -- 2 low, 1 high, 1 turret
  • Tengu engineering "Supplemental Coolant Injector" - 5% reduction in the amount of heat damage absorbed by modules/level -- 3 low

Also controls grid and cap, also varies by subsystems.


  • Tengu offensive "Accelerated Ejection Bay" - 5% bonus to kinetic missile damage, 7.5% to heavy, heavy assault and assault missile launcher rate of fire, 10% to heavy missile/heavy assault missile velocity/level -- 1 med, 5 high, 5 launchers
  • Tengu offensive "Covert Reconfiguration" - 5% bonus to missile launcher rate of fire/level, 100% reduction in cloaking device CPU use -- 1 med, 5 high, 4 launchers (note: this subsystem also allows you to fit a Covert Ops cloak)
  • Tengu offensive "Magnetic Infusion Basin" - 5% bonus to medium hybrid turret damage, 20% to medium hybrid turret optimal range/level -- 1 med, 5 high, 5 turret
  • Tengu offensive "Rifling Launcher Pattern" - 10% bonus ECM target jammer strength, 5% to missile launcher rate of fire/level -- 5 launchers, 1 med, 1 hi (note: this subsystem also adds 50m³ of drone bay and 25 MBit/s of drone bandwidth)

These also give some power grid/capacitor/CPU.


  • Tengu propulsion "Fuel Catalyst" - 10% bonus to afterburner speed/level -- 1 low
  • Tengu propulsion "Gravitational Capacitor" - 15% bonus to warp speed, 15% reduction in capacitor need when initiating warp/level -- 1 low
  • Tengu propulsion "Intercalated Nanofibers" - 5% increased agility/level -- 1 low
  • Tengu propulsion "Interdiction Nullifier" - 5% increased agility/level, immunity to non-targeted interdiction -- no slot modifiers

These also control overall speed.

Tengu is a mythical flying demon from Japanese Shinto mythology.
