PVP

The Rokh is a very special case. Its ship bonuses allow it to function as either a solid short range fighter or as a long range sniper. Its generous allocation of slots and powergrid/CPU allow for a very large range of customization. Your fit can be anything from a long-range sniper to a short range torpedo boat with nosferatu and energy neutralizers.

In general, when fitting the Rokh you should be considering at what range you are likely to engage your enemy. Using the high base range of railguns combined with your ship bonus, you should be hitting the enemy with higher damage ammo compared to them. This also means you do not need to fit as many modules such as tracking computers or sensor boosters to increase your engagement range. Meaning you can fit more tank compared to most other long range battleships.

425mm Railguns should be reserved for large fleet fights and sniper work. In general, 350mm Railguns are preferable for thier lower fitting, higher tracking and lower capacitor use. The reduction in damage is negligible. Blasters are obviously for point blank work.

Sample Setups

These two setups showcase two possible extremes of the Rokh: massive tank or massive range. Your fitting should fall between either of these depending on engagement range. Shorter = more tank, longer = more sniper gear like sensor boosters or tracking computers.

Buffer-Tanked 350mm Rokh

This setup can do a significant amount of damage. With good skills it can hit out to +100km. It also possesses an incredible buffer tank. It has no shield boosters, so it relies on shield transfer arrays to quickly regain shield. It is an excellent ship for a small fleet that needs long range fire support ship that can take some punishment.
