Downloading EVE
How and where you can download the EVE Online client
The EVE Online Client is available for Windows and Macintosh:
The Windows client can be downloaded in three ways:
- Default: You download a small installer (about 2MB), which downloads the client using BITS and installs it afterward.
- Torrent: This is not a normal .torrent file but an embedded torrent client in a small .exe file that does everything for you, you simply download and execute, the rest is done automatically.
- Fallback Installer: You download the full client using your web-browser (or any download-tool). Due to the size of the client this can cause issues, specially with unstable connections.
The Macintosh client is a normal .dmg installer used for MacOS X, you can find instructions on how to install it here.
