ACT YC111 SEPTEMBER:Heavy Fighting including Titan and Mothership Losses in DCI7-7 System

With starbases in the Stella Polaris-held system of DCI7-7 coming out of reinforced mode on 111.09.27, forces from Circle-of-Two and White Noise moved in force to deliver the killing blow to the installations. Stella Polaris responded by calling in its allies Morsus Mihi and Wildly Inappropriate. Over 500 pilots are believed to have participated in the fighting that erupted around the starbases, as Morsus Mihi attempted to swing the battle decisively in favour of the defenders by deploying Avatar- and Ragnarok-class titans. This gambit backfired as the Avatar was pinned by warp disruption fields and destroyed by Circle and White Noise dreadnoughts. The Avatar's Ragnarok sister-ship prudently withdrew before it too could be trapped.

Not all went entirely the way of the Circle-of-Two and White Noise forces, however, and a Circle Hel-class mothership was destroyed, while each side lost substantial numbers of carriers and dreadnoughts. Two Stella Polaris starbases were destroyed during the fighting but the battle was not a decisive victory for the invaders. Stella Polaris continued to hold the system throughout the remainder of the year.
