ACT YC110 July:Major Battleship Engagement in DTX8-M

An assault on a GoonSwarm moon-mining starbase appears to have been the primary aim behind a battlegroup of BoB, Axiom Empire and Stain Empire forces, supported by small groups from Greater BoB Community alliances, clashing with a GoonSwarm and Tau Ceti Federation defence force in DTX8-M. Both sides deployed large battleship fleets together with support vessels, in addition to numerous capital ships. In the event, losses on the BoB/Axiom/Stain side were high, with approximately 150 ships and capsules destroyed, compared to approximately 50 losses on the GoonSwarm/TCF side. With such a high ratio in favour of the defenders, the loss of a TCF Phoenix-class dreadnought can be regarded as negligible and the engagement a decisive victory for the GoonSwarm/TCF forces.
