Logistics are tech 2 ships based on the logistical cruiser of each race and massively expanding on it's role as a remote assistance vessel. Not only does the logistics get a powergrid/cpu bonus and a capacitor use bonus to large remote repairers, it also gets a range bonus. This allows the logistics to not only use battleship sized remote repair modules, they can do so at approxematly 70km range. Logistics also recieve full tech 2 resist bonuses, in the manner of a HAC in addition to the smallest signature radius of any cruiser hull.

Logistics are often a very important part of the fleet making them often the fist ship called primary by the enemy. Despite their reists and low signature radius a lone logistics wont last long on the battlefield and most often a pair or more logistics is needed to keep eachother alive as much as the rest of the fleet.

Logistics are also sometimes used in pve. By doing away with it's tanking modules a battleship or a marauder can fit more damage modules and thus going faster through the mission or complex. Without tanking modules the damage dealer leaves it up to a logistics pilot to keep him alive.

Cap from nowhere

In addition to remote repair modules the amarr and caldari logistics also have similar bonuses to remote capacitor modules. By teaming up in pairs theese logistics can create huge amounts of cap from thin air leaving module slots for other things then cap rechargers. This is how it works: Through it's bonuses the logistics vessel uses alot less cap to activate the remote capacitor module then what is actually trasferred. If two logistics pilots send cap between eachother this means a big net gain in capacitor for both pilots. Cap that can then be used to activate the other remote repair modules.
