Developed by the Gallente in the Caldari-Gallente War as a means to fight off the solo-fighters that the Caldari used to great success. Now drones have been developed by every Empire in Eve each perfering to use the weapons of the home Empire that created them. Also drones have expanded upon just combat drones to include many more functions including repair and electronic warfare.
