How does the ingame browser work?

The ingame browser can be useful in many ways. Through it the players can get access to various game related information such as news, dev blog, patch notes, new player guides, the support site and, last but not least, sites submitted by other players and corporations. Furthermore, increased game related functionality is being added to trigger ingame functions with websites through the browser, including displaying EVE starmaps and hooks to display game information on locations and items.

The browser currently supports HTML 3.2 wich includes table support and style sheet support along with numerous other enhancements that HTML 3.2 brings. It has some support for HTML 4 tags and functions. It allows use of colors, various font attributes and sizes, tables, image maps, background images, CSS1/2 for example.

You can view but not edit EVElopedia pages in game as well.
