Introduction

Earth is believed by many to be the birthplace of human-kind and home to the ancestors of all of the races of New Eden. There has been no contact with Earth or its inhabitants (known colloquially as 'Terrans') since the collapse of the EVE Gate, though traces of their technology are known to exist around the galaxy, most notably around the EVE gate, which is surrounded by a debris field most likely caused by the collapse. This wreckage has been cloaked by the Jovians for reasons known only to them.

Technology

Terran technology is apparently far more advanced than that which has been developed since the EVE Gate collapsed, as was seen to devastating effect when Jamyl Sarum deployed a Terran Superweapon fitted to her Abaddon class Battleship to defeat an Elder Minmatar Titan and its support fleet with a single detonation. This superiority is also evident when studying Jovian technology, as the Jove recovered from the collapse of the gate faster than any of the other races and are believed to have retained much knowledge brought into New Eden through the Eve Gate.
