Character Background

Corporate Career

SentryRaven started his carreer as a basic pilot in his second player corporation Chaos Faction. He was recruited while flying through a belt and looking for other capsuleers to create a fleet and ease the logistics of mining. He was spotted in the local chat channel and recruited to join Chaos Faction.

SentryRaven was assigned to the security division of the corp as a regular combat pilot, but it was soon discovered that he had a way with words and people and an assignment to the Recruitment Division was promptly made.

During his time in Chaos Faction, SentryRaven advanced from being a regular pilot to the rank of a director within the corp, with a temporary appointment to the CEO position, while the previous CEO Dunbar Regan took a hiatus of about four weeks.

During Chaos Faction's membership in the alliance Brotherhood of Steel <BOS>, SentryRaven was also the secondary diplomatic contact, before Chaos Faction decided to leave <BOS> because of a pending war dec and the inability of the member corps to muster combat pilot for defense.

A disagreement between Chaos Faction's CEO Dunbar Regan and SentryRaven led to his decision to resign from his leadership roles and leave the corporation, although it has to be stated that his departure from the corporation was on good terms and there is still a good amount of communication between SentryRaven and his former corp's members, including the CEO. A few members from Chaos Faction decided to follow SentryRaven to his new corp KIA corp and are still a member at present.

Joining KIA corp involved a thorough check of his employment background and an interview to determine his qualification and him meeting KIA's standards. After passing these interviews and checks, SentryRaven was introduced to the KIA family.

The first weeks of his employment with KIA corp were spent learning the ways of being a mercenary and learning to act and behave with the professionalism that the corporation's CEO KIAEddz required from his pilots. Within this short time, SentryRaven got used to the limitations imposed by his employer and was living by the mercenary spirit.

Very soon SentryRaven discovered that he could help with the maintenance of the corporation's forums and killboard and he started to upgrade the killboard where necessary and administrate parts of the forums. His CEO also discovered that SentryRaven had a fable for recruitment and assigned him to assist the corporation's recruiting director. After the director went inactive for an extened period of time, SentryRaven took over the coordination of the recruitment processes and was shortly after made a full director within the corp.

During August 2008, SentryRaven's desire to try out something new led to his departure from KIA corp in order to become a pirate. He joined the pirate corporations The Black Rabbits and The Movement, but his careers as a pirate lasted for only a month, after he was contacted by his former CEO Dunbar Regan to found an alliance and move to Syndicate.

He formed his own corporation Sentry Security and joined the alliance Chaotic Evolution. At peak times, his corporation only consisted of 4 members and his desire to lead his own corporation quickly faded and he closed down his own corporation to rejoin KIA corp.

After his return to KIA corp, SentryRaven resumed maintenance of the forums and the killboard and was asked to take over the recruitment director position from Imperius Blackheart who had went AWOL.

SentryRaven is currently still in charge of the KIA Alliance forums and killboard and is responsible for the coordination of the recruitment divisions within KIA Alliance. He is also the liason for the German speaking corporations within KIA Alliance and he is able to understand basic conversations in French and Spanish.

Other Occupations

In June 2008 SentryRaven was approached by EBANK and asked to support EBANK in upgrading their internal forum software and migrate it from one physical server to another. He has since been responsible for maintaining the forum and implementing various features, such as the API Verification System [1].

SentryRaven has also installed the HelpDesk [2] system for EBANK and is responsible for its maintenance.
