API Key.

Your *LIMITED* API key is required by some programs to import your Character's information such as skills. It is not uncommon for a new corporation to require your limited API as part of the joining requirements (it allows them to see your skill's, your isk balance and any other chars that are part of this account, so if you have been "smak talking" in an alt from the same account, they might refuse you membership).

Never give out your full API key, you might as well give them your username and password. (Giving a program your full API is the same as posting it in the 'please steal all my stuff' forum).

It is not easy to find the link to get your limited API so here it is:

You will need to log-in. Anti-phishing filters from your anti-virus software or similar would reduce the risk of you being redirected to a fake eve home page.
