Execution of Mission

The main task of the Yulai Guard is to fight piracy and other hostile NBSI entities, not only by using military power, but also by political and diplomatic means. By vocally promoting the ways of NRDS, moral sense and sanity, we aim to increase order and safety throughout New Eden.

Pirating and practicing a general NBSI policy are the activities that validate hostile actions from the Yulai Guard. Narcotics, combat boosters, slavery and scamming is also considered illegal, but is currently not normally responded to with military action.

The Yulai Guard is a member and the founder of the NRDS Coalition [NCA], a galactic network against piracy.

NRDS and NBSI

The Yulai Guard operates under an NRDS policy. NRDS means "Not Red, Don't Shoot". In other words, the Yulai Guard only takes agressive action towards those entities set to a red standing with us, we never shoot at neutrals, unless attacked first. This policy is generally considered a much more relaxed and progressive approach than the hostile NBSI policy. NBSI means "Not Blue Shoot It", and by enforicing this policy one would attack strangers and neutrals. NBSI is generally adopted by pirate corps and other non-social organizations.
