Your Account Security

CCP cares about your account security and does it's best to ensure that it is in order. However, you can help by:

   * Changing your password regularly and making the password complex
   * Making your password at least 12 characters long, with at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter and one number
   * Never sharing your account information
   * Not using your EVE Online username / password for other games or websites
   * Keeping your anti-virus software up to date
   * Keeping your browser and operating system up to date
   * Only accessing EVE Online websites from computers that you trust
   * Never buying ISK for real money
   * Never visiting ISK selling websites
   *Never using macro programs

Using these guidelines will greatly reduce the chances of your account being hacked or misused in any way.
