Yllej Gniht is an idealist that always looks to the betterment of his fellow corporate members. To achieve this, he always tries to improve the socio-economical structure in which he is in, to eventually mould it to an ideal structure that will encourage and support every member. In his piloting hours, he enjoys exploration, corporate events and the occasional PvP skirmishes.

Virtual Capsuleer Life

Early Career

Yllej Gniht was brought in the capsuleer world by Chimoue, who helped him grow and thrive in his earliest months. Thereafter, Yllej Gniht enjoyed Empire Space mining and missioning in his Exequror. Acquiring his license to pilot a Retriever, he dropped the missionning aspect of his life and concentrated in mining. Soon after, ore prices dropping, the acquisition of a Vexor-class cruiser was made, and further improvement in drone skills were made. Missionning became then the sole occupation of Yllej. After a month of piling up ISK, the acquisition of a Myrmidon-class cruiser was completed, improving the ease of the different combat missions undertaken by Yllej.

0.0 Migration

The acquisition of a Tristan-class frigate was undertaken and was outfitted with a microwarpdrive and salvager. Incursions were made in Providence and general looting and salvaging of scraps left behind by Battleship-capable pilots was undertaken. Enough ISK was piled up inside 2 weeks, and the acquisition of a Dominix-class battleship was done. From that point on, the destruction of Sansha Gangs became easier and easier.

CEO

With the absence of Chimoue, Yllej Gniht was nominated to take leadership of 0rizen. The transition was smooth because Yllej was always working behind the curtain with Chimoue for 0rizen, helping with the construction of 0rizen's structure.

Establishment of 0rizen's constitution

Soon after the transition, Yllej thought it would be best to have a constitution be made to 'set in stone' the different rules and laws of the corporation, for the benefit of all. Suggestions were made, most of the members suggested changes and then voted for it.

Abolishment of Director positions

With the sudden dismantlement of BoB and the migration of Goonswarm to the ancient BoB territories, Director posititions were seen as a possible threat to 0rizen's future. Director positions were abolished and Ministerial positions were made. Essentially, these positions have all the power necessary for the advancement of each division's goals.

Further improvement of 0rizen's constitution

A few months after the abolishment of the Director positions, flaws were pointed out in the 0rizen constitution. It was revised and remolded, voted for and accepted. It hasn't changed since.

Alliance Creation

On the 25th of November 2009, Yllej created the 0rizen Nation Alliance. It always was 0rizen's plan to become an Alliance, and that day was a joyful one.

New Corporate Structure

Soon after the Alliance Creation, a new corporate structure was thought through and instored so that 0rizen could now fill a new role within the alliance.

Real Life

Academic background

Interest in 'space' and other related stuff was always a strong motivator of mine. In highschool, I did one year of 'space exploration programe' and even went to a 'space camp' in Belgium. After that, I did the equivalent of 1 year in mechanical engineering, to finally decide that it was just too freaking boring and changed to biology. I completed a baccalaureate in biology, specialised in limnology.

Professional career

I started out my professional career as a sampling supervisor on 40+ lakes in the Laurentians. After that, I moved to the be a Ministry of the Environment analyst to autorize (or not) projects which have an expected environmental impact. This is still my current job.

Personal hobbies and interests

Computer gaming is a must, of course. I also enjoy board games and roleplaying games (not the 'real life' ones, but the tabletop ones). I hunt small game, fish and fly-fish, canoe, hike, etc. I am also an aquarist, hosting many aquariums at home and building my own.
