Wolf Name: Wolf Hull: Rifter Class Role: Assault Ship Named after a mythical beast renowned for its voraciousness, the Wolf is one of the most potentially destructive frigates currently in existence. While hardier than its brother the Jaguar it has less in the way of shield systems, and the capabilities of its onboard computer leave something to be desired. Nevertheless, the mere sight of a locked and loaded Wolf should be enough to make most pilots turn tail and flee. Developer: Boundless Creation Boundless Creation's ships are based on the Brutor tribe's philosophy of warfare: simply fit as much firepower onto your ship as possible. Defense systems and electronics arrays therefore take a back seat to sheer annihilative potential. Usage

The Wolf is one of two T2 variants of the popular Rifter-class frigate. Like it's cousin the Jaguar, both ships are most commonly seen in action during solo or small gang PvP.

Compared to its more rounded counterpart, the Jaguar, the Wolf is slower, has higher DPS and improved damage projection, and is almost always armor tanked. The Wolf has one extra high slot and low slot, giving it a 5/2/4 layout. The lack of ability to fit a full tackle and low speed make the Wolf a second tier solo PvP vessel, but a much more effective ship in small gang and wolfpack situations.

The Wolf is also a viable choice for low/mid end PvE. With high damage output, decent speed and a tough armor tank, it is capable of easily taking on level 3 missions and mid-range exploration complexes in the hands of a skilled pilot. Younger or less experienced pilots are advised to stick to larger ship classes for PvE situations until they are confident managing a non-stable tank and frigate transversal.
