Although originally concieved as a mining corporation by its founder, Grimmy Deathstar, Wasteland Miners Inc. these days operate more towards the production end of the industrial spectrum.

This change was brought about shortly after bringing Kaimon Zhal on board, and later Freya Jones (formerly of Gradient).

Primarily, the aim of WAM is to provide affordable ships, arms and ammunition to the many pro-Matari organisations in the cluster.
