There are corporations and alliances with one set of goals, and others with a completely different set. There are players that play one way and others that play another. If someone is looking to mooch, they came to the wrong place. Varion is a place that believes hard work gets you places and we don't settle.

If you want to fight for something worth having then Your a Varion. If you look at 3 to 1 odds as a chance to make someone look bad... your a Varion. If you realize that you are a cut above the rest and that there is NOTHING in this game that you cant beat... your a Varion Commander.

There are two basic parts to Varion, there are the combat pilots who eat/sleep/breath death. There are the Industry pilots, who will economically ravage you before you know what happened. Guns offer one type of pvp, industry offers up another. Trading, is its own form of pvp. Buy low sell high, Manipulate the uneducated who didn't know he actually had a diamond and not just a lump of excretion. There are no carebears in Varion. Even their industrialists have deadly claws. Varion is a Family; They protect our own, no matter the cost.

History

Varion is in it's fourth period of evolution. Varion has been around for over two years and is well learned on how to adapt to changes and challenges.

Period 1 - This began with the founding of Varion. Originally Varion was created to be the main industrial arm for the original Revolution alliance. Like many alliances, Revolution found itself circling the drain. In order to maintain itself Varion freed itself from the nearly dead alliance and voyaged on its own. The rest of this period is unremarkable in the way most industry corps are.

Period 2 - Period 2 began with a revitalization akin to the big bang. Leader of this revival was Anderson Williams. The pendulum swung from industry to full pvp. Living in the Metropolis and Sing Liaison regions, Varion quickly made a name for itself. The Varion spirit was quite a change from the status quo of the area of people fearing the loss of their ships. During this time Varion First joined Revolution 2.0 in support of the friends they had. Unfortunately the leadership of that alliance fell in to the hands of an incompetent dictator and Rev 2.0 was soon abandoned by all worth while pilots. Next Varion joined a new alliance by the short name of A.C.E.S. Varion continued to flourish while in this alliance. There was so much success that a push was made into the Syndicate region. Unfortunately one side has to lose a conflict and in this case it was A.C.E.S.

With the failure in Syndicate, discontent grew in A.C.E.S. until eventual several pilots from various corps seperated themselves and formed a new corporation. Discontent from Varion towards A.C.E.S. and vice versa grew until one day Varion was kicked from the alliance. Varion once again voyaged proudly on its own. Having started a decline since the Syndicate incident, membership continued to drop for the next several months.

Period 3 - The third period for Varion began when Samuraltsumo, now known as Samuraitsumo returned home to Var. Starting with only a handful of members, Varion quicky built back up a membership of over 40 members. This time however the pendulum did not do a 180. It was Sam's goal to strike a balance of industry and combat pvp pilots. Not as combat strong as a pure pvp corp, or as wealthy as a pure industry corp, Varion found itself self sufficient so that they don't have to rely on anyone outside it's family. To Further the self interests of the corporation, Varion Joined the Abyssus Incendia alliance. For months Var built up its membership and trained its new members in the way of lowsec survival and pvp. Working well with Abysuss, Varion prospered quite well for a while. Unfortunately however stagnation started in, and Varion saw that it was in a decline and needed to take immediate action. In a bold leap of faith, Varion uprooted itself from its lowsec heritage and set out for 0.0.

Period 4 - Proudly joining O.W.N. alliance and the Northern Coalition was the beginning of the fourth period for Varion. To take on the new challenges that awaited Varion, Riseoffilth joined Varion and stood by Vespa and Sam to bring Varion into the new year of 2010 and 0.0. Living on the east edge of Deklein, Varion Galactic prospered with OWN Alliance until Goonswarm Federation and TEST Alliance took sovereignty as OWN's old friends, TCF, pulled out of the region. After a complicated few weeks, OWN was forced out of the territory but was fortunate that NC friend Junior SvK vouched for OWN's legitimacy within the Northern Coalition. OWN was renewed as guests of R.A.G.E and moved toward Vale. Many corporations have decided to abandon OWN Alliance during these treacherous times as the Alliance begins to find themselves a new home. The Varions stayed and supported the struggling Alliance because that is what Varions do.

After several months of holding Soverignty of Vale of the Silent, DRF and PL forces started invading the region of Geminate, and soon Vale of the Silent. Along with the rest of the Vale of the Silent resident, OWN Alliance's station was taken. This was not the end of the resistance from OWN alliance however, as it was for many Vale alliances. S6Q Station was retaken by a small force of Varion and OWN alliance, but only before a short time before a hostile Russian/PL Supercarrier blob quickly undid all the hard work. Once again, this was not the end of the resistance from Varion and OWN. Much of Vale of the Silent region was SBU'd by OWN with the intention of supporting NC in reclaiming system, however this efforted was never followed through by NC, and was put to waste.

Varion retreated with OWN and continued to support the NC until Tribute and other main NC regions were given up for lost. Varion since then has left OWN alliance, and joined their brother corporation, Demon Theory(made up of other Varions), in Tragedy. Alliance. We currently reside in wormhole space, getting fights whenever we can, and furthering the Varion traditions.

Former Operations

T3 Brofist Fleet - The T3 Brofist Fleet was created by Varion Wing Commander Proclus Diadochu in an attempt to utilize the BAMF style of the strategic cruiser to ruke various regions. Hosted by Varion Galactic, the Brofist Fleet is generally composed of Varion and Tragedy. membership utilizing the Strategic Cruisers as the forefront of their arsenal. Generally commanded by Varion Galactic CEO RiseofFilth, the fleet has made a small name for itself as a force to be reckoned within Wormhole corps.
