Manual table versus template use

I noticed you playing around with the table of Template:Character, so a couple of hints/remarks/suggestions (basicly out of curiousity as to why you would want to use a manual table over the template).

The code below would include Template:Character for your character

The template is aligned right becuase of the TOC (table of contents) aligning left and this way they fit next to each other.

If you want to force the template aligning left you can do so by creating a 2 celled table and put the template in cell one and the toc in cell two (this is theory havent tested it myself).

Also the alliance tag is not included because it is a propierty of the corporation (player=member of corp, corp = member of alliance) and not of the player itself.

Also you can freely use wiki markup in the variables.

Thanks for that. But what you're saying is, I can't customize the this template? I would like as much info as i feel would be nice to have (including alliance, tbh I am looking for the alliance, more than I am looking for corps when I am looking up players). Estar Tarns 06:01, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
