Short by Vherokior standards. Dark hair usually worn in braids or cornrows.

History

Born and raised at the Vherokior Tribe Treasury station in Teonusude, Mara's parents were traders living a semi-nomadic lifestyle. The family would typically move from system to system through the Molden Heath region while buying and selling whatever was in season.

At the age of 15, Mara was captured by a slaver raid during one of the Rinn family's relocations. Sold to the Caldari Navy, she served ten years on various ships in the fleet. Eventually sold on to Ishukone Corporation, Mara was used as a test subject for research into the causes of — and remedies for — mind-lock (or "wet grave").

At this time it is not known how Mara returned to Minmatar space, only that she arrived at the Vherokhior station in Egbinger barely in control of a capsuleer-fitted Drake, having held the entire crew hostage for many days.
