Biography

Makhar was born in YC 85 aboard an Amarr Navy battleship. His parents were slaves owned by the ship's captain. Makhar's father was killed in a slave revolt three months before his birth and his mother died in child birth. Feeling sorry for the orphaned infant the ship's captain adopted Makhar and raised him as his own. Makhar has never really fitted in amongst his fellow Minmatar and considers himself to be Amarrian.

He did live, briefly, within the Minmatar Republic as he completed his pod pilot training and it was from the Pator Tech School that he graduated capsuleer training. However when war broke out between the Empire and the Republic Makhar sided with his adoptive home in the Empire and is now an outcast from Minmatar society.

Career History

Early Career

Makhar started his pod pilot career as a miner and was first employed by the Independent Miners Guild (IMG) where he was hired to fly a Probe in their mining fleet. He quickly rose through the ranks and entered the corporation's management team within a few months of joining the corporation to become recruitment manager. He excelled in this role and earned a reputation for being the person that newly qualified pod pilots turned to for help.

He was later promoted to Intelligence Director and took charge of gathering intelligence on entities hostile to the corporation and of protecting the corporation from the intelligence activities of other corporations. It was in this role that he developed a friendship with V'casslord Daeth an accomplished spy and founding member of the IMG. He later passed on the role of 'chief spy' to V'casslord after becoming a director and head of the corporation's high sec activities.

As a senior member of IMG Makhar was appointed as Senator to the ruling council of the CFS alliance. In late YC 105 Makhar took over as CEO of IMG when the corporation's founder left to lead the Coalition Navy and he has been the CEO of one corporation or another ever since.

After being betrayed by his second-in-command V'casslord Daeth when he committed a large scale corporate theft Makhar eventually resigned as CEO and left to form an intelligence gathering corporation with limited success.

Guild Alliance

Following the closure of the intelligence corp Makhar took an extended break from his career as a pod pilot and returned to civilian life. When he did eventually return it was to take charge once more of his old corporation IMG which had since all-but closed. He rebuilt the corporation from scratch to be a successful industrial corporation and later founded the Guild Alliance to allow IMG and several sister corporations to work together more effectively.

Capital Storm

With a desire to move to lawless space the Guild Alliance merged with another similar sized alliance known as Capital Storm with Makhar and MattVonx as co-CEOs. Together they claimed sovereignty over a system in Catch and successfully grew the alliance until the eventual invasion of Catch by Against ALL Authorities.

Consultancy

After Capital Storm was forced to leave Catch Makhar left the alliance and spent a period of time setting up new corporations and alliances for others to take over and lead. He has since taken over leading IMG And the Guild Alliance again, which now operates out of Domain region running mining operations both locally and in nearby null sec space.

Retirement

Makhar retired from corporation management in October YC113 and joined WEPRA CORP in the White Noise. alliance. This move was to allow Makhar to spend his time honing his combat skills and to enjoy doing the things that had made him want to become a pod pilot in the first place.
