ideas for Science skill (in development)
The Science group of skills is the most numerous by far, and can be overwhelming for the new player. By dividing them in groups of related skills it is easier to evaluate the usefulness of each one of them.
Science skill is the necessary prerequisite for most of the skills in this group.
Research is the science of improving the quality of original blueprints (BPO) and the creation of blueprint copies (BPC).
Invention is the art of creating Tech 2 BPCs based on a Tech 1 BPC. You need some specialized equipment (datacores, data interface, optionally a decryptor) too attempt the creation of a Tech 2 BPC. You need some specialized skills too.
The following skills are necessary to create Tech 2 PBCs. Two skills are needed for each particular BPC. All these skills require Science V.

Note that the skill astronautics engineering does not exist (yet)
Data interfaces are manufactured using ingredients found in Hidden Complexes and in certain COSMOS.

Hacking and Archaeology
These skills improve your ability to make and use High Tech items found in Hidden complexes and COSMOS sites. The Technology skills themselves are believed to be 'found' through the use of Archaeology or Hacking.
