Entilzah Valen.

I became an active capsuleer on April 25th, 2005. I migrated from Star Wars Galaxies, Ahazi Server. I really didn't get a kick out of Star Wars Galaxies; what I enjoyed more than the game itself was the Bounty Hunting system. It was all I did for nearly 10 months of playing, and I was known to be a relentless hunter who paid mind to every detail.

EVE was mesmerizing. I spent my first day in EVE trying to find the 0.0 systems in order to kick someone else's ass. At some point on my second day, I ended up going AFK at the gate in Pakkonen. I watched as my Ibis was blown away by a single torpedo, entranced as it approached during it's terminal phase.

After a conversation with the owner of that Torpedo, NumBerGuy, I suddenly had 1.5 million ISK in my pocket and a new group of friends whom I ended up allying with. They were the UnAssociated Alliance and I became good friends with Countdown (my CEO) and Vehestian (my fellow late night US timezone player).

Things went south when Countdown and NumBerGuy's eyes got too big for their stomachs and they choose to attack Delve with an 85 man alliance. But I had fun. At the time I had zero idea what was really going on, but I heard whispers of joining a 0.0 alliance and PvP galore. The corporation that I ended up joining couldn't have been a better move made in EVE for a new player, and an aspiring PvPer at that: Band of Builders, Inc.

Countdown and I made ourselves at home in Band of Builders, and after a week in Querious I happened to find myself in the hull of an Enyo while trying to chase down a hostile in 3FK alongside Zangief Suikoi, my mentor. After that moment and my flagrant desire to fight, I was flying every night with the Band of Builders Interceptor strike team. In a Vigil. :)

At one point, we ended up chasing down an Ars Celestis convoy moving into Huzzah Federation territory freshly taken in Catch. We tackled down several haulers and made away with the loot. The next day I logged in to find that one of the blueprints we had collected was in fact a Gyrostablizer II Original. So now a player with 3.5 million skillpoints found himself with 900 million ISK to play around with.

I cut my teeth in Catch. I still know the pipelines in and out like the back of my hand, even with months and years away from EVE. I can log in and immediately know the territory. I mastered scanning down pilots in the belts in less than five seconds after entry in Catch. Catch made me a PvPer.

After fighting the long war in Firmus Ixion, I took it upon myself to make the most of my limited time in EVE and joined the first incarnation of 0utbreak in May of 2006. I had the least skillpoints of anyone in the corporation. I couldn't even fit Tech II 425mm Railguns. But I had the desire to fight, and that is what everyone saw in me.

To be continued...

Nowadays you can find my working more than anything. I'm currently playing Starcraft II on Battle.net as Entilzah in the US.
