History

A Clouded Past

Very little is known of Beindaz's past. He was found in the wreck of an alien ship near the location of the Eve gate. Instead of being in a pod, he was found in a strange space resistant suit unknown to New Eden. Angra Maniyu and Vkoloyan of Nebula Rasa found him and rescued him from the wreck. Oddly, immediately after Beindaz was brought aboard a large explosion was detected amidst the wreck and what little clues were left of Beindaz's origins were destroyed.

Discovering a New Life

Upon waking from his harrowing rescue, Beindaz found himself in the medical ward of the Center for Advanced Studies in Cisturvaent. Dazed and confused he arose from bed, realized there was a draft coming from behind(as hospital gowns thousands of years in the future still do not have full coverage) and quickly found some proper clothing to wear.

By the clothes he found a computer tablet filled with what looked like medical info, but written in a language he did not know. He judged from the words and the sounds that it was similar to French, which he did know, and so was able to piece somethings together. Most importantly, that Vkoloyan and Ens Gallente had paid for his time in the hospital, and had left him a card to contact when he got out. He also was able to piece together that the tests they ran said he was Gallente with Intaki blood, but that there were odd DNA and protein markers. He was unable to piece more together from the computer as the language quickly diverged from French.

He was deeply contemplating where he was, and how exactly he came to be there as his memories seemed to have vanish, when he heard a soft woosh as a door opened. A gruff looking, squat man entered the room and began talking, in what Beindaz assumed to be a dialect of the weird language. He must have looked befuddled and helpless as the gruff man stopped talking, reached into his coat pocket and removed...a fish. Long story short, Beindaz was finally 'persuaded' into accepting a Babelfish, and thus was introduced to his new life.

Upon receiving the Babelfish he was informed that the gruff man was named Ettu Concord, and that he was hired by a man named Kaltar Bok, also of Nebula Rasa. Over the next few months Beindaz was trained in the ways of being a pod pilot, all the while still grasping for some handle on his lost memories. It wasn't long before he graduated from his training and found himself flying a Thorax to Masalle to meet this Rasa cult.

Finding a Home

Beindaz arrived in Masalle at the helm of his Thorax, Ex Nihilo, both scared and excited to finally meet those who had rescued him. As he prepared to warp after decloaking at the gate his sensor's flashed and showed four stations in system....those Rasa pilots never told him him which station to go to. After a few failed attempts and much ire dealing with Mimmatar docking bays, which by the way house an enormous amount of duct tape, Beindaz found himself docking at the correct station.

After about twenty minutes of wandering through station he finally found a small door, with the word RASA painted over what he could have swore were the words "janitor closet". Beindaz didn't have much time to ponder as a pilot fell out the door stinking of alcohol and spewing conspiracy theories about CONCORD. Two more men stepped out and quickly and effectively picked the drunken chap up and returned him inside, as if this was a common occurence. They were about to close the door when another man jumped up from a table spilling several beers and waking another fellow from what must have been a sound slumber, and shouted 'Beindaz'.

Now as anyone who has been in a similar situation knows, this sort of reaction can mean one of two things. The individual shouting is excited to see you and has been expectantly waiting to give you a nice gift, perhaps a glass of quafe and whisky. Or the person shouting is about to pull out a weapon and seek to do serious harm to your being.
