Foundation

United Legion was founded in early 2006 by Red Assault Brigades, Aeria Gloris and RUS Academy corporations. At the moment of December 2008 there are 9 member corporations: Red Assault Brigades, Russian Coalition, Monks of War, U.K.R.A.I.N.E, NorthWest Russian Corp, Sacred Temple, Capital Phalanx, Krash Kill and Destroy Corp, and Hooligans Mayhem.

Territory

• The first UNL outpost was constructed in E8-YS9 on the NE side of the Immensea region.
• Step by step, with the help of Red Alliance, Tau-Ceti Federation, Goonswarm and other allies, UNL gained its position in the Top-10 list of claiming alliances in EVE. At the moment of December 2008, UNL claims the entire regions of Immensea and Paragon Soul and partially claims Omist, Tenerifis, and Feythabolis.

Military

UNL acts by NBSI politics. This means "Not Blue - Shoot It". So, in zero security space everybody not marked blue with alliance standings will be shot on sight.

History of Military Action

• At the moment of December 2008, UNL is participating in the largest war in history, called the Quantum War, where Against ALL Authorities declared a war for survival against Goonswarm. A few days later, two coalitions were founded: Against ALL Authorities, Stain Empire, Red Overlord, Coven and Band of Brothers versus Goonswarm, United Legion, Red Alliance and Rebellion.

• Approximately one year before the Quantum War, UNL participated in the Great War, where Red Alliance, Goonswarm, United Legion, Tau-Ceti Federation, and Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate were fighting for survival against the Greater BoB Community (Band of Brothers and their pet alliances and corporations). This war was ended with pushing BoB to the Delve NPC region, gaining over 80% of their territory.

• Before the Great War, UNL was fighting against one of the oldest alliances in EVE - Lotka Volterra (LV). This war began shortly after internal conflict between UNL and its former member - Yarsk Hunters corporation, who failed to meet the membership requirements and was kicked from the UNL. As revenge they allied with LV against UNL. As a result of the war, Lotka Volterra was wiped out.

• The first war UNL was involved in was the war against Interstellar Starbase Syndicate (ISS) and Maelstrom Alliance (MA). ISS and MA held the majority of Immensea, which was taken by UNL at the end of the war. With the allied help of Red Alliance and Tau-Ceti Federation, both opponents fell, and as a result, disbanded.
