The Unified Catholic Church is a religious structure hinted at in a few obscure, archaic Amarr Ministry records, which the Gallente supposedly leaked to the cluster. How this information was received has been a contentious issue between the Amarr and the Gallente governments to this day. They appear to show that the Amarr faith was once part of a larger faith, one that possibly encompassed and sustained a large portion of civilized society - a religious institution referred to as the Unified Catholic Church of Mankind.

Like the Amarr, this Church believed that there is one universal and transcendent God. He is said to be the one uncreated Creator to whom all worship is ultimately directed. They believed a continuing conflict between good and evil involving the entire universe, including humanity, which has an active role to play in the conflict.

At some point in the ancient past, the Amarr broke from this religion in schismatic disagreement on some fundamental level, leaving the Amarr as the self identified upholders of the one True Faith.
