I Can't Complete My Agent Mission

If you don't seem to be able to complete your mission, but you have already destroyed all of the pirates within the mission area and delivered any cargo which the agent tasked you to return to him from the mission area, please check the following:

  • Make sure you have delivered the cargo to the correct station. It is easy to confuse roman numerals, i.e. VIII and VII, and some npc corporations may have more than one station in the same system.
  • Make sure that all the cargo is stacked together.
  • If any items are stated in the objectives as necessary to complete the mission, please make sure that you aquired the item in the mission area. Mission items are usually left in cargo containers, and can be hard to notice as their icons may be overlapped with wreck symbols. Furthermore, mission items are not always obtained by destroying the NPC transports in the mission area, but sometimes from the last ship that you destroy. Be sure to take care of all the opposing forces to receive it.
  • In some missions it does not matter whether you are delivering precisely the items that are provided in the mission itself, as long as the status of the mission is set as 'completed'. In other missions the agent is requiring a very specific item, and will then only accept this item, and none other.
  • Some missions require you to destroy particular structures. Be sure to have such structures added to your overview to make sure that you notice them, or press and then hold your left ALT key to make them appear in space as grey squares.

If all else fails, or if your mission is not properly reseeded after the downtime period, you can always file an "Agent Mission In Progress" petition from the F12 menu ingame. We will do our best to assist you.
