The Valkyries of Bosiu was created by Mina O'Bane, Witchdoctor24, and Delregia, who are the official corp contacts.

The corp name references the Valkyries of Norse mythology and the Sesotho word for Night. The Logo was designed by Mina O'Bane to represent a warrior on the battlefield locking swords with an opponent, while a ghost-like valkyrie descended, he thought it was clever.

History

The corp first began by joining the alliance Celestial Shadows which was a defunct alliance run by some of the their old friends, due to the inactivity of the C-S membership and the desire of the VLKYR leadership for some diversification of their membership. They left C-S not long after joining to join another alliance that the directors had been part of as individuals, High Treason Alliance. The Valkyries stayed with the membership of NOOSE, and moved several times from Atlas Alliance space to IT Alliance space, until a spy disbanded the alliance and the member corps were forced to create a new alliance by the name of Essance of Escalation. The main corp of Nitsujsoft Enterprises began to fall apart from the inside and the Valkyries started to lose interest in moving again to Legion of xxDeathxx territory after their month lease in IT Alliance space ran out.

Future

The Valkyries are currently situated in Gallente High sec while they debate on where they want to go. The corp has recently decided that they will become much more aggressive in low sec around Stacmon. Their standings with other corps and players have all been reset save a few select pilots and they will be operating NBSI

Recruitment

The recruitment policy is very lax and requires only that you be a living, breathing human being to join. They are able to have this lazy policy of vetting new pilots because they have nothing worth stealing lying about.
