In Depth

The corp practices a hybrid approach to player function, both PVP and Industrial activities are supported to a high degree with balance between the two being an important factor in any long term planning. Over time this has lead to a large degree of skills diversification in the corp with very few single points of failure and a high level of knowledge transfer.

Teamwork is encouraged not by large formal ops but by a focus on working together whenever possible, organized pvp is usually based on squad tactics and balanced small gangs, pvp should be fun! Taxation is quite low however there is a rent payment which goes towards securing space and keeping towers running, this equates to about two evenings work a month. A great deal of the corp's wealth comes from donations and assistance from its players, there is a strong ethic of mutual profit from cooperate development not only in terms of financial reward but in terms of support.

Ritual prides itself on transparency of communications, there are monthly corp meetings via voice comms which are very boring but provide absolute detail on all of the ongoing projects from pvp objectives right up to political reports, players are encouraged to put forward ideas for large and small projects which they then have the opportunity to take a leading roll in delivering.

The corp has an open policy to role-play however in most cases interaction is OOC.

The R.I.T.U.A.L cooperation is that strange blend of company and cult that only the Amarrians could carry off. The 'Messiah' / CEO 'Avathar Dagor' is a Khanid listed as a loyal servant of the empire almost everywhere however, epically with the Tash-Murkon family, the other numerous members of the organization are remarkably multi-cultural epically given the company's open stance of 'Religious Intolerance Towards Unbelievers of the Amarrian Legacy' – as their name is expanded to on occasions. The unifying factor for all the members seems to be an ability to accrue wealth. No single political or social ideology seems to dominate their domestic function, they have been observed to fluctuate from almost total independence to a stricter configuration in times of need.

Ritual do not specialize in any one market or function, seamingly they have learned from experience that over specialization breeds weakness, they instead seem to focus on exploiting all the resources available for the greater profit of the members, the only known exception is piracy; there, historical records show the company has been actively involved in countering piracy, it is unknown whether or not this is the preference of the CEO or a common shared value. The cooperation seems to be split fairly evenly between the military minded and those specializing in research and industry, however all the members can frequently be seen in a variety of military hardware operating as squads in larger fleets. The destructive capability of the corporation is noteworthy, bloodied in several viscous empire wars all the members seem to know when to fight and when to turn and run. They are known to have at least one capitol class pilot and there have been reports of activity pertaining to capital and supercapital class ship construction.

At the present time Ritual seem to be based in the eastern territories with the massive and amorphous Shadows of Death alliance in the northern coalition. They are active in the mineral and refineables market, they do not seem to be buying any unusual or illegal goods at this time. There exact headcount is listed officially as 30 at the time of this study however theese figures may not be accurate.
