Taromi Umailen

Taromi Umailen was a Caldari scientist who helped found Crielere.

When the Labs were being shut down due to internal corruption and a lack of funding, Umailen, along with his Gallente counterpart Henric Touvolle, first made a plea for unity, then refused to abandon the project.

Umailen was kidnapped by the Guristas following a series of raids on the station. After several days, the scientists were sold to Aritcio Kor-Azor. President Foiritan negotiated for his release, but a Minmatar slave managed to steal his identity and was released instead.

Umailen died in the sulfur mines of Inis-Ilix I from starvation. He was discovered some time after his death.
