]V[aelstrom Alliance was founded by the collaboration of two corperations back in 2006 between VORTX. corp and .FDF.(frontline defence forces).

The Alliances grass roots originated in the area close to Immensea, but later on moved on to take residency within -LV- (Lotka Volterra) space. ]V[aelstrom alliance began to grow too big and was eventually evicted from -LV- space, within the space of one month negotiations about ]V[aelstroms future were questioned within the southern coalition where -LV- attempted to move ]V[aelstrom alliance to take residency within another southern coalition alliance which was under increasing pressure from Red Alliance, this caused some temporary issues within the southern coalition and it was eventually decided that ]V[aelstrom alliance were to claim there own part of space whilst also working in collaberation with MAD(Motivated And Determined) alliance back in Immensea which was believed to be a potential weak spot within the southern coalitions territory.

After several months of assets transport from -LV- space, ]V[aelstrom alliance eventually gave birth to its first and only station during one early morning in July. They named the station in I-NGI8 (System) ]V[aelstrom Prime, during the station eggs development a UNL( United Legion) scout successfully passed a ]V[aelstrom gate camp in I-NGI8 (System) and discovered, the egg the scout responded by leaving the comment "nice station you built for us".

Over the course of several months ]V[aelstrom alliance was in campaigns against UNL and IAC. Whilst the fighting with IAC eventually ended after negotiations the campaign against UNL continued throughout the remainder of ]V[aelstrom's time in I-NGI8 (System).

After almost a year of sovergnty I-NGI8 (System) went under siege from Goonswarm, United Legion and others. ]V[aelstrom alliance members made a valient attempt to hold there station, fighting against enemies of which often tripled ]V[aelstrom and allies numbers. The battle for I-NGI8 (System) raged for close to two weeks but the battle for I-NGI8 (System) was eventually won by Goonswarm and allies. Within the two weeks of battle Lotka Volterra made there entrance with one of the first titan's.

]V[aelstrom alliance was forced from its home back to empire after the battle for I-NGI8 (System). ]v[aelstrom alliance was the first target on the list of southern coalition members which fell and I-NGI8 (System) was considered a staging point for Goonswarm and allies to later invade LV space, resulting in there fall too.

]V[aelstrom alliance was considered a formidable fighting force and was praised for its endurance and outstanding display of integrety by all sides during the war for I-NGI8 (System), but its collapse was inevitable after its failed attempt to re-establish itself against the OSS.
