Could we get a diagram showing how the fact that a mobile WD x km behind a gate can affect a ship x km before the gate? This doesn't tally with the description of the field as a spherical 3D entity x km in diameter. The pilot would then only encounter the edge of the WD bubble at the gate itself, wouldn't he?
