The Subach Story part one !

The Beginning.

Subach was a developing corporation based in the Empire region of the EVE universe. We are mainly a mining and manufacturing corporations, producing almost anything and everything in EVE.

Subachs main emphasis was on battleship manufacture.

Early History

Subach Tech started off as a mere dream in the eyes of two Fountain Alliance pilots while they were patrolling one day through YZ-LQL. Bored of the usual mundane multi million isk arknor mining and countless invasions from and to the Curse Alliance, they decided to start a corp of their own in Empire space where they began and relive their youth, while at the same time transferring their knowledge to the next generation of capsuleers.

And so Libali and Reagen said their goodbyes to their much loved and revered companions of Cold Fusion and packed their bags for Thashkarai where they had first begun their lives in EVE with the Quark Nexus corp and their much admired tutor Bozl1n. Back in The Zoar and Sons factory they were all set. Only one thing was missing! A name!!!!!

After much deliberation and research into many relevant things such as corp goals and spacey names we settled on 3 possibilities,of which Subach was chosen, coincidentally linked to the family name of corp founder Libali Subaccus.

With the corp created Reagen and Libali set upon the task of amassing funds. We hit the belts in Thash and began mining for resources, after allhow can you build ships with no mins. Shortly after the corp opened Libali set about recruitment, and while on a shopping trip for some blueprints stumbled across some crazy nooby pilot who was amazedly the huge undercarriage of Libs Apocalypse and promptly hit a soft spot in Libs usually cold heart and was dragged into the corp.

As noobs go, we all make mistakes. However this one made gross errors, firing on stations in attempt to capture them in a frigate, venturing into 0.0 and almost starting wars. However cock ups aside Lib saw something in this young pilot that Reagen didn't and kept him on-board grooming him over time.

Through the early years many pilots passed through the Subach ranks on their way to better things, always grateful of the knowledge and assistance granted to them by the ever wise Libali and Reagen. More notably the Subach Serbian contingency and on a personal not Hitman396 who despite pleas from many corp members to dump by the wayside for his disobedience turned into a very fine pilot and as such was taken by Lib to the UK Corp to progress his career after it was clear he would stagnate in Subach.

After a while Subach out grew that Thashkarai system and relocated to the Ahala/Arera region. It was here that Subach struck up a relationship with another small industrious corp! Power Industries, run by Seiver D'Amross. Over time the link between Power and Subach grew into an informal alliance, complete with resource and and manpower linking to create a stronger team.

Shortly after several changes came into the EVE universe such as POS, etc. Subach wanted to buy into this industry and so set up a POS in Milal with the help of Power.

It was with this that three more notable pilots entered into the Subach family worthy of a mention. Xanaria, who moved onto A4D, ShadeK98, who was taken by Lib to Cybderine, and Killfest, who was unfortunately hunted down and killed, but thats another story altogether.

This was also the source of one of Subach biggest cock ups ever. With over quarter a billion isk in ships alone in the production hanger Promithius allowed access to the hanger to a corp thief and without realising his error logged in to a hail of wrath from Lib who found the ships hanger empty.

Not one to hold a grudge on his young apprentice ceo in waiting Lib set about tracking to corp thief and taking the value of goods out of his hide. With the rest of the corp in tow Lib camped out the theif and asked him to be honourable and appologise an return the goods, claiming his innocence left the corp no choice but to shoot him into oblivion.

Shortly after this event, Lib and Reagen decided on a short sabbatical from the corp and left for UK Corp to see how other corps were run and take some pointers and take a break from leading. At this point Promithius was left in temporary charge of the corp. However shortly after leaving, one of our allies and close friends corps was war dec'd in Saminer by a mercenary corp attempting to run them out. Ever the carebear miners Subach armed up and went in to assist in defending our allies. Naturally as with all professional merc corps these guys were pleasant and did not smack talk us. However some of the carebear Subach miners new to the situation smacked a little and paid the price. For many it was their first taste of PVP. Overall the war was a victory for Subach forcing the surrender of Eclipsed after a series of dec and receding each other. The war was strung out and enjoyable from both sides ending amicably.

Upon returning to Arera there was a split in Subach with the majority of the corps PVP contingency leaving to join Necro Blasts newly formed PVP corp.

A small rift occurred between the two corps for several months leading to a couple of wars between the two, which now are luckily over and the rift on its way to being sealed and relations restored.

Subach was reformed in august 05 into the Subach Tech corporation when Libali stepped down and handed the corp to Promithius under the condition that he remade the corp, new CEO new Beginning. As such this is the last page in the history of Subach Technical Industries. The corp is still open under the watchful eye of Libatchi one of Libs relatives until such time as it is needed again.

The Subach Story part two !

The New Beginning.

When Subach Technical Industries went into dormancy, it was replaced by Subach-Tech. Same idea but a new beginning and a revised directorship.

New CEO

Subach-Tech after Libali was reformed by newly appointed CEO Promithius, one of Subachs longest serving members and most highly qualified candidate for the position. Promithius was joined by Seiver D'amross of the Power in corp as his first appointed Director and POS manager. With Seiver D'amross came Codock Draconin, Subach's highly respected Logistics Director. Lickter from The Galaxtic Liberation Syndicate also joined the team in a directorship role. Libali was also quietly involved keeping an eye on proceedings in the guise of his alts Acqucha and Cuahl.

Arera served as Subas new Headquarters as it had been for Subach Technical Industries in the past. Suba also operated out of Ruchy and Rammi with a new POS set up and complex operations running regularly as a more exciting alternative to mining.

New Products

Along with a new corp identity and revised team came a new approach to production. The new Suba looked deeper into the market and with the use of the more modern Covetor class mining barges was able to increase mining yields and pump out battleship production lines, rather than the mainstay frigates, cruiser and battlecruisers that started off as the bread and butter of S.T.I.

Interstellar Starbase Syndicate

Shortly into its new life Suba became a member of the ISS and was involved in the production of the first out posts to go up such as Marginis and operated out of Borealis for a short while.

After several months involved in ISS operations and flying in support of the ISS Navy Suba decided that they were not needed by the ISS and as such returned to Arera operations.

The Ruchy Pact

Shortly after returning From ISS duties Subach Tech moved operations to Ruchy working in conjunction with Appetite 4 Destruction as members of the Ruchy Pact. Basically A4D claimed Ruchy a 0.4 system in the Domain Region and policed it fully from all hostiles making it as safe for the locals as working out of a 0.5. While in the area Subach mined Jaspet in abundance as well as partaking in Rammi POS operations to fund production operations building the likes of Battleships and dabbling in the Capital Ship market.

The Subach Story part three !

The Alliance.

The next and may we say GREAT step for the Subach Corporation was the venture out into 0.0 regions with Fatal Alliance.

Old enemies, New friends

One thing that many will not understand or remember would be the old rivalry between the Fountain Alliance and the old Curse Alliance during which the founders of Subach enjoyed many wars and violent encounters over the years. One of the most memorable to me being Gunship who I remember from way back as far as 2003/2004 among other faces that I fought back in the good old days and now strangely fly and fight side by side. One thing I have always fondly said about my early days in EVE was my fights and encounters with the old CA and to fly side by side with them I hold a dear amount of respect for them and can say I am very proud to fly with them.

Invitation

One of the things many people will ask is why such a small corp such as Subach. Not forgetting we only had 20 odd members when we first decided to join Fatal before merging in several other corps. Why were we almost invited to join Fatal. The simple answer as always has been so lately for Subach is Promithius. Our great CEO and resident arse kisser extraordinarily wangled his way into the heart of the lovely Nefta who decided that she wanted to invite Prom to join the Alliance fun in 0.0, and while she was at it, she supposed his corp lackeys could tag along too. Rather nice of her too I think.

Early days

One of the toughest periods of any new venture to 0.0 is the first couple of weeks of moving out there. Especially when theres no station to call home. More to the point, many of our members, new and old had never had any real 0.0 experience.

Needless to say tensions ran high during the early stages as the trip from Ruchy/Arera up to our staging area and entry point to 0.0 was sorted out and muddled together. People cramming as much of their much loved kit as they could into freight containers for the long voyage. Much to the disgust of the directors members insisted on bringing everything from their civvy gats to their aunties old slippers, rather than just the bare essentials of survival. (personally I went up in one ship with the bare essentials to pvp and rat in the cargo hold, its all I needed in the world).

The majority of the kit was neatly crammed into Promithius Carrier for the jump up, which was by far the fastest and safest route out. All the main ships and other random kit as packed into ships and moved in convoy through 0.0 to the new regions where we set up our new temporary home.

The first big test and point of tension was of course the POS we called home. All of the kit we had moved up and all of our much beloved clutter once we hit 0.0 became municipal. There were no more personal hangers and hanger space was tight. As you could imagine stuff frequently went missing and people lost ships and modules as people took stuff that wasn't theres or moved stuff around confusing each other in the process. ( I almost thought none of these guys had ever been camping before, living rough made em cranky as hell)

However despite the hardships of a prolonged camping trip once our new outpost went up a lot of the tension eased, although not completely. During the move the directors had been busy moving stuff around, fuelling POS and doing other directory duties while they assumed the members were off enjoying themselves and getting to know the region. How wrong we were. To our surprise a lot of the guys had been idley milling around not really knowing what to do or even what the general rules were to living in 0.0. Even though to me it seemed simple as hell. Rat, Rat, Rat and of course a lil pvp as well.

This called for a nice long overdue directors meeting for us all to nag each other and discuss how we would whip the corp into shape and get them working as a single unit.

Some little scuffle

As always when you start a new Alliance, theres always someone who wants to come and test the water and beat you into submission. And the opportunity to seize an outpost makes it all the more juicy. Needless to say we had hardly been established a month in our new home and a large group of wannabes (you might have read about it on the E-O Forums!) decided to come along and take our new home.

Needless to say we didn't quite like this idea so we donned our best and cleanest under wear and grabbed our pitch forks and got ready to run them outa town. On the first wave of attacks (which only took around 4-5 hours to kick off!!!) our huge gang of 70 odd pilots was soon engulfed and out numbered more than 2-1 by the enemy. Needless to say I lagged to hell and was completely useless which upset me somewhat as I was looking forward to getting me some kills.

Initially we used fast hit and run tactics to deplete the enemy force one by one. This took a lot of time and we eventually made some ground. The enemy seemed a little smarter than we anticipated though, the clever buggers put some interdictors on the outpost so once we were dead we were kinda stuck in station and out of action.

After depleting our main fleet a little however the enemy decide the time had come to bring in the big guns and start tearing down our POS to make room for their own. And rather cheekily they also made use of a handy glitch to shoot through the POS bubbles to kill large number of our fleet, cheating in my book but in war anything that gives you an upper hand is worth a look so who could blame them. (given the chance I would have done the same thing).

The conflict continued despite F4T4L having only 14 capital ships to its name and being faced with a combined force 5 times its size. IT is during this war that F4T4L recorded the first mothership kill in EVE history. After another week or so of fighting the attackers bought out F4T4L and the conflict was ended with a cease fire and an organised withdrawal. Details of which can be found here. http://fatal.eve-alliance.net/KillBoard/index2.php?a=cc_detail&ctr_id=1

The Subach Story part four !

Wondering Warriors

After the drawn out battle of the drone lands F4T4L moved out exhausted but in high spirits, after all they had inflicted heavy losses on the massive attacking force and forced them to buy out the defenders. Subach moved with the alliance to G95 in Fountain region to assist there friends DICE and recover from their losses. From this new base of operations F4T4L ran interference and protection operations in the region, this period lasted a few months until the next cause came along.

Mercenary Coalition and the sacking of the north

F4T4L joined forces with the Mercenary Coalition and assorted other allies in an ambitious campaign to dislodge D2 (Dusk till Dawn) from there long held powerhouse in the northern regions of 0.0. The war became one in the long line of "Great Northern Wars" The conflict began in the regions in the north west reclaiming pure blind and worked it way around in a clockwise direction all the way to Vale of the silent. The whole war lasted a few months. The scale of this war is hard to explain in the format of this document I am sure you will find much more information elsewhere on the history of the various Great Northern Wars, sufficed to say that it was the greatest war of that time.

A New Home

After the last vanguards of D2's empire were gone the alliances that took part in the war were rewarded with space of there own. F4T4L was given the northern constellations of Branch region. They set up out of D4R and EQI with M.Pire Alliance working out of BKG. For a while all was well there and other than long distance roaming ops into the eastern and southern regions the area was peaceful, or so it seemed at the time.

The Realisation of Razor

It became apparent that we had been complacent in the security of our new home when an Cult of War Alliance who we had fought along side during the purge of D2 came under attack by combined forced headed up my Razor Alliance who had previously lived in that area of space as allies of D2 prior to the purge. In a surprisingly rapid attack most of COW's POS's in there station system had been reinforced and the outlook was not good. During a meeting of the leadership of F4T4L M.Pire and COW it was decided that swift action was required if there was to be any hope of holding there combined territory. Within the course of 48 hours they formed a coalition (informally known as the FatCowMpire) Which threw its full might of over one hundred capital ships and as many support vessels into COW's space and rescued there POS's. The new coalition had surprised Razor and there allies but it was clear that this was only the beginning of the next war in the north.

Capitals Counter-Intelligence and the BKG Shredder

It was not long before the fronts of war began closing in from all sides, SPARTA Alliance who was also among F4T4L's friends in the north found themselves under attack from the west as Razor and Morhus Mihi closed in from the east. the FatCowMpire made an attempt to rescue SPARTA but due to pressure from the east we were unable to save them in time. Soon there after the war came to us in full force with BKG under attack from 600 man fleets almost every night, initially the Razor forces were able to bring capital ships into the system and reinforce towers, but once an organised response was made the coalition capital fleet soon saved the towers, in response to the overwhelming numbers the enemy could bring to the table a new tactic was adopted and the BKG shredder was born.

With the recent addition of Cyno Jammers to EVE a POS was erected with a jammer in BKG but given that no capital ships would be able to enter the system with the jammer online the POS was fitted as a fleet shredder. A minmitar tower with artillery and autocannons armed to the hilt with redundant batteries that could be brought online as soon as others were incapacitated. The POS defences were manned by a full team of M.Pire gunners. Every night there after the fight was over this tower an both sides brought there full force to bear on this one battlefield, the conflict dragged on for months. Eventually it was decided to remove the BKG POS from the killboards as it was out killing everyone in the coalition.

The details of the fight over BKG can be found here http://fatal.eve-alliance.net/KillBoard/index2.php?a=cc_detail&ctr_id=7&view=kills

The war takes a turn

After a month of fighting every night in terribly laggy encounters, the will to fight was wearing thin, it was at this time that the F4T4L Alliance leadership decided to step down and open the floor to new leadership, a vote was conducted among the CEO's of the member corps and Promithius the CEO of Subach-Tech was elected as the new leader. This was due primarily to the fact that he had been commanding the coalitions capital fleet since the operation to save COW. The fighting continued and it seemed that despite the stagnation that we were holding back the tide, all that remained was to wait for the will of the attackers to break (after all how much more of the shredder would there pilots be willing to take) It was at this time that Promithius made a call that was later to cause him much ridicule. As the new leader he was given the alliances new outpost egg along with all the materials to build it. In talks with M.Pire it was decided to deploy this new outpost in 4DT as the recent addition of Sov level 4 (which required that an alliance controlled 3 stations in once constellation) which would fortify there position to the point where it would effectively be impossible to remove them. So it was done , with the help of there old friends The Mercenary Coalition who graciously loaned us the use of there new titan's jump bridge to move the outpost up with freighters (who later became rather impatient with Razor resulting in a Dooms day attack on a Razor fleet in BKG) The outpost was deployed and then things took an awful turn.

The End of F4T4L

The same day that the 4DT outpost was deployed and all seemed to be going well M.Pire F4T4L's closest ally that had been hither too holding control of BKG which was the gateway into F4T4L's systems surrendered to the Razor coalition. Within a few hours of this move there were Northern forces attacking the POS's in our new station system and our foes were freely passing by BGK and hitting our home systems unchallenged. A counsel of war was called of all CEO's Directors and Fleet commanders available at the time and the options were discussed, it was decided that despite a loathing to do so that the only option was to surrender or risk losing all our remaining assets. And so it was done and the members corps began to move there assets back to empire space. It was at this time unbeknownst to any other member corps, that F4T4L Revelations (the original founder corp of the alliance) moved all there assets including an Aeon they had been constructing in secret out of Branch during the night. The next morning despite the fact hardly any other corps had removed any of their assets that F4T4L Revelations decided to attack Razor forces in and around low sec space, the result of this was that the Razor leadership rescinded its cease fire and slaughtered the convoys that were evacuating assets from Branch. Looking back had the outpost not been deployed then there would have been a chance that F4T4L Alliance would have held together under a new name and moved to a new region. However the fact that F4T4L Revelations did not hand over the executor powers to Subach would have led to the same slaughter regardless. Promithius's character in the alliance executor corp was stripped of roles during the night and from that point he was unable to do anything to prevent the betrayal that led to the failure of the alliance.
