Our History

The SLBF is a four year old corporation that has fought in many regions all across New Eden over the course of its lifetime. As the executor corporation of the Vanguard alliance, they lead by example, excelling in the field of combat. Currently our membership is just above the 100 member mark.

What we do

The SLBF, like the Vanguard alliance as a whole engages in military activities around the border between the Wildlands and Derilik regions, working to offer security to those we live alongside. We also regularly work with our allies such as Foundation to battle Red Alliance and their forces nearby.

In addition the alliance is working on intensive programs of recruitment and development of our industrial infrastructure. Join us, and you'll be joining a veteran group with plenty of ambition.

What we expect from our members

Despite our experience and skilled pilots, we do not place rigid requirements on our people. We still appreciate that people have lives, and that they play this to have fun. So, as a member any requirements listed below will be asked, knowing you may need to decline due to RL and such:

• Members are asked to migrate from empire to 0.0, so as to be able to operate with other members of the alliance in group operations.
• Participation in fleet/gang operations run by the corp and alliance where possible.
• Participation in any industrial operations that occur - Miners are also welcome.
• NRDS engagement policy - Not Red Don't Shoot
• A 17.5% tax rate is imposed to provide fuelling for corporate POS and capitals.
