Stein originally was an early member of Agony Unleashed and rose to become a Director. He wrote and delivered the PVP-COVOPS course for Agony and was one of the corporations key CovOps scouts.

He then left Agony to broaden his horizons and see more of New Eden. Stein joined the newly created Ghost in the Machine as CEO.
