History

The Southern Coalition was a group of alliances led by Lotka Volterra which also included Veritas Immortalis, Knights of the Southern Cross, Maelstrom Alliance, United Confederation of Corporations, OPUS Alliance, E.R.A., Alektorophobia and Chimera Pact. They held territory in Omist, Tenerifis, Detorid, Immensea, Wicked Creek, and Scalding Pass.

The Southern Coalition was taken apart and destroyed by the RedSwarm Federation coalition during 2006 and early 2007.

Southern Coalition Mk. 2

After the relocation of Goonswarm to Delve in the aftermath of Delve War 2, a second Southern Coalition formed in the vacuum that was left behind:

• Gentlemen's Club
• Primary.

• Initiative Mercenaries
• Initiative Associates

Unrelated to the first Southern Coalition, these alliances collectively took part in the South-North War and the Providence War, but disintegrated soon after and turned their guns upon one another in the First Catch War.

Southern Coalition Mk. 3

Formed from the alliances that survived the Catch War, the third iteration was noticeably smaller then the first two due to the loss of much space to the Drone Russians.

Southern Coalition Mk. 4

These alliances are the victors of the grueling year-long Second Catch War, having eventually destroyed the DRF. The fourth iteration is much larger then the third, swelling up in the later days of the war on the promise of spoils and victory.
