Hostilities Begin

On March 22, 2010, IT Alliance began operations in the north. Over the course of a week, the rest of the southern coalition also moved to the north. Operations began April 1, 2010 (not an April Fools joke) against the northern coalition.

Major Battles

Saranen Surprise

On 3-30, an IT Alliance cap fleet was attacked while moving to the staging area by the NC in Saranen. [1] Several caps were lost by both sides before the node went down.

A Long, Deadly P3EN

4-4 - the SC was engaged by the NC in P3EN-E. The node struggled but held up, despite over 830 in local. [2] Roughly 250 ships were destroyed in 2 hours of fighting.

4-5 - the battle in P3EN continued (with a reinforced node). The NC held the field at the end of the fight. Nearly 400 ships were destroyed.

4-6 - the battle once again raged, with another 250 dead and 20b isk destroyed.

4-9 - hostilities flared again with another clash of battleships. Over 200 wrecks littered space.

NCGR-Q Cap Death

Atlas and friends lose a cap fleet in a two hour battle with the NC in NCGR-Q. [3] Of more than 600 ships, less than 400 survived, leaving a graveyard of a hundred dead capital ships.
