After Phalanx Alliance disbanded, the remaining corporations started SOV. However the internal struggles from PA carried over with one corp resorting to carebearing with a lack of participation as a result leaving the alliance. Other pure pvp corporations in the alliance decided to merge into Bionic Dawn who had been operating in the northern part of Venal for some time already, but in the end only two corporations, Steel Battalion (Now Circle-of-two) and Arachnea Phoenix Battalion carried over to Bionic Dawn. As a result SOV decided to close its doors. Bionic Dawn didn't stay in the area after the reform but went east with Triumvirate to hold Vale of The Silent for months against the NC by securing the western entrypoint into Vale of The Silent, while the much larger and more experienced Trimvirate held the North and South entrypoints.
