Sakura Imoru used to work as an enforcer for the RJD, specialized in pursuing and shutting down slave hunting operations in Heimatar, before becoming vassal of Khanid House Deritan.

Childhood & Education

Born on Saisio III as the only child of Yoshio and Ai Imoru, Sakura was brought up to inherit her father's position in a small but successful company (Tabuchi Logistics Corporation).

Because of this Sakura was educated at the Science and Trade Institute, always being one of the best in her class.

Being an only child of rich parents, Sakura was kind of a spoiled girl, showing off her privileged position inside Caldari society whenever possible.

Capture and Slavery

On her 18th birthday (YC 104) Sakura started work at her fathers company. Being the daughter of a senior staff member, Sakura was assigned to an important job quite easily. An Amarr Navy Admiral and Holder, Inyam Lazerus, was looking for a transport company that would deliver him luxury goods from the State. Seeing the young and attractive Achur who was assigned to negotiate with him he wanted her. Not only to increase his reputation by owning such an exotic and beautiful young girl, but also to make a profit by selling her even more exotic looking offspring.

By faking a travel warning and doing some bribing he managed to stage an ambush on Sakura's transport, capturing her while he was engaging a Sansha outpost.

After faking her death to the State investigators, Lazerus had Sakura falsely convicted of smuggling (non-existing) weapons to enemies of the Throne and she was consequently sentenced to slavery.

Liberation and New Life

Sakura was liberated during the events of YC 110 (The Elder War), as the breeding station she was hidden in was boarded by a small Elder task force. Besides freeing all slaves, the task force was able to capture Lazerus and take him prisoner.

Having been used as a breeder slave for over 6 years, Sakura was apathetic for two more months, having lost her will to live after her first 2 years of humiliation.

After listening to a conversation between her doctor and a nurse about the fact that her two daughters, which were also on that station, were still alive, she came back to full conciousness and recovered fast, not willing to let them become orphans. During one check-up her compatibility with the capsule-program was discovered. Sakura agreed in becoming a capsuleer, hoping it would help her with finding her other children who were still somewhere inside the Empire.

After witnessing the trial and execution of Lazerus, the RSS and the FIO managed to find and contact her mother, who joined Sakura in the Republic. Her mother informed her that the company Sakura and her father worked for had been further discredited by Lazerus, who had claimed that the whole company was involved in smuggling. The small company was not able to defend itself from the huge political pressure it was facing and went bankrupt. Her father, having lost his daughter, his work and his reputation died shortly after that because "of a broken heart".

Having nothing left to return to and feeling a huge amount of gratitude towards the Matari, Sakura and her mother applied for Matari citizenship, which was granted almost three months later.

Voluval and the RJD

As part of her integration into Matari society Sakura had to undergo the Voluval herself, the result was a rather strange event of two cultures colliding with each other. On her upper right thigh, just above her tattooed slave number her mark showed an unknown creature, an animal never seen by the shamans before. Her mother identified it as Ammit, an Achuran zodiac. The shamans listened carefully to what Ai Imoru told them and concluded that Sakura would be an "angel of vengeance", devouring the souls of all slavers crossing her way.

According to this she was assigned to the RJD, where she used to work as an enforcer. By carefully examining the wreckages of all Amarrians vessels she destroyed and/or with the help of the RSS she was able to recover all of her kids to date, who were living with their grandmother at a secret location inside the Republic before relocating.

Change of Nationality

For reasons yet unknown Sakura accepted an offer of Khanid noblewoman Ithiria Deritan to become a vassal of House Deritan, making her a citizen of the Kingdom.
