How to run EVE in Windowed mode on the Mac

Instructions on how to run EVE in Windowed mode on the Mac

Apocrypha 1.3.x

1. Run EVE Online at least once, to allow the preferences folder to be set up properly.
2. Edit the /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Eve Online Preferences/config file
3. Search for [sdldrv] then look a couple lines below for the fullscreen entry which looks like: "Desktop" = "N"
4. Change N to Y there

Apocrypha 1.5.x

1. Run EVE Online at least once, to allow the preferences folder to be set up properly.
2. Edit the /Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Eve Online Preferences/config file
3. Search for [macdrv] then look a couple lines below for the fullscreen entry which looks like: "Desktop" = "N"
4. Change N to a standard resolution, e.g. 1024x768

Incursion

1. Open Eve
2. Open settings
3. Go to the "Display & graphics" tab
4. Change "windowed or fullscreen" to "window mode"
5. If you like to go back, change it back to "fullscreen".

You can change quickly with CMD + RETURN

Note that you will need to repeat this change in your config file if you delete your preferences for any reason.
