Those who seek to participate in Eve's active role playing community have several options. They may post on the official forums in the Intergalactic Summit section. They can join a RP corporation or alliance. Or they can seek out any number of player-run chat channels designated for RP. The purpose of this page is to catalog and list those channels.

The Summit

The Summit is arguably the most popular and frequented roleplay channel. It regularly hosts a wide variety of personalities, drawn from across many of the organizations in New Eden. Conversation varies from day to day, and as it is basically something of a mirror of the Forum-based roleplay channel the Intergalactic Summit, there is often various topics being discussed. Run partly in conjunction with the organizers of The Chatsubo ( http://eve-chatsubo.com ), a popular OOC forum for a part of the RP community. )

La Maison De Tous Les Plaisirs

One of the more famous bars of Eve’s long roleplay history. Watering hole of the Free Captains and revolutionaries in Star Fraction.

The Haudenosuanee Club

A Lounge bar operated by the Annwn Matari. Located in Hakeri, the menu features traditional Minmatar favourites and features organic produce. The Haudensuanee Club is open to all visitors, though Amarrians may not find the clientelle too welcoming.

The Three Sisters

Occupying the second-to last deck of the Jel VI station, a non-affiliated bar for anyone to come to and relax at.

FreeIntaki

An open channel managed mostly by the Intaki Liberation Front and visited by friends on various sides, where the talk includes general discussion as well as the pet topics, the state and security of the Placid region and the Intaki Secessionist movement.

Peachy's Place

An upscale night club owned and operated by Freedom of Exile. It is decorated with a modern flair and has large trasperasteel windows affording patrons an exquisite view of the surrounding system. Peachy's Place is open to all visitors. A wide variety of drinks and herbs are available for patrons enjoyment.

Pirate Factions

The Last Gate

A bar run by the notorious pirate corporation Veto, though open to anyone who follows the rules of the house. The principle of neutral ground is enforced - violence on the premises will result in a swift eviction by the bar security.

The Skyhook

Formerly run by Omerta Syndicate, now by members of Ghost Festival. The Skyhook has lately expanded into a nightclub chain featuring drinks, music and dancing; the main location is situated in the Lai Dai Protection Service station at the 2nd moon of Airkio VII. The Skyhook does not have the virtual reality interfaces frequently used in other locales, so attendees must visit in person, on their own or by Interbus.

Caldari Faction

Heiian College

Public channel of the Heiian Society, the purpose of this channel is many fold. Heiian Society members will try their best to answer questions you have concerning Caldari culture, politics, pod pilot corporations, and any Heiian sponsored events. General discussion conerning the Caldari is also encouraged. (Heiian Society)

Tea House

A massive wooden floor austerely decorated in Caldari fashion, with some heavy concrete vases here and there holding kresh branches. There are some tatamis lying on the floor for the guests to sit on. The feeling of austerity is reinforced by the sound of deep solemn drums played by a hidden sound system. A hanging scroll displays an exquisite calligraphic work that reads: "True tea is made with water drawn from the depths of mind". (Link)

Gallente Faction

Lei Weichi Teahouse

A formal Jin-Mei run establishment decorated in traditional ethnic fashion, complete with a VIP section that offers capsuleers considerable privacy should they require it.

Crystal Boulevard Mall

A multi-storied mall, located on the Crystal Boulevard in Caille and a great place to socialize and shop. Especially shop; if you can't find it on the Crysyal Boulevard, you probably can't find it andwhere.

The Athena

Decked with proudly hung flags and decor evoking the Gallente pre-industrial era, The Athena tends to be frequented most by Gallente of a patriotic bent. A public watering hole run by a pro-Fed organization. Its multiple physical locations within Federation space are networked by holographic projectors: wholly virtual access is also available.

Crux Agora

Crux Agora is a regulated GalNet virtual environment that draws thematic and organizational inspiration from the ancient civic meeting places of the Garoun civilization, particularly those of the region encompassing modern day Caille. In such places, all citizens could come before their peers to freely voice concerns and raise questions that had bearing on their lives and interests as well as those of the body politic. Believing similarly unfettered discourse as vital to the success of our society in this interstellar age as it was when men sailed in ships of wood and iron, partners of the Aidonis Foundation established this forum and its counterpart NeoCom channel in YC113 to encourage the growth of a new dialogue in the Federation and peaceful discourse across the wider cluster.

Minmatar Faction

Sjalfradr Hideaway

A small lounge located on a Prowler owned by Loke's Shadow, a Thukker-aligned corporation. It has some limited support for VR projection, but physically traveling to the location is preferred. Public contact point for the corporation and place to come and relax.

Amarr Faction

Amarr Legio Basilica

This basilica on Oris (Amarr VIII) and the surrounding grounds, though still an active place of worship, have largely been adapted into a place for the high and mighty, particularly capsuleers, to socialize. Holo projectors allow capsuleers to attend services or meetings on the homeworld from across the cluster; other amenities include conversation tables and a nonalcoholic refreshment bar.

Out of Character Discussion

OOC

The official companion channel to The Summit and the default for other public RP areas such as The Last Gate. You are welcome to idle here even if not in The Summit, as many people do. Usually just as busy, if not busier, than The Summit. It’s like an in-game channel version of The Chatsubo.

Community Lounge

The Community Lounge channel is a new out of character channel that encourages participation from all members of the Eve Online community.

Corporation and Alliance Public Channels

These channels are open to the public but tend to be more focused on affairs relating to the channel host and populated by corp members, close friends, diplomats and would-be recruits.

Welcome to the Amatsu Lounge, the most exquisite and luxurious lounge area in all of Saisio system.

Our skylight is the largest ever build on a satellite platform in caldari space, offering you the most incredible view of Saisio III. This is the PUBLIC channel of Yurai-Tenshin Zaibatsu. Please show good conduct to other visitors. Due to the nature of the settings, both pod pilots as well as docked players can discuss matters here, the pod pilots who are jacked in can project their image into the Amatsu Lounge, digitizing on the spot. Holographic food and drinks projection tied into a neural interface allows the sensation of refreshments, while not making a mess of the decor.

This is the LDIS public / front office. LDIS employees will be able to answer questions about products we are selling and possible future plans. Along with that State politics and the views our employees have on issues are free to be discussed.
