Rhavas is an explorer and combat pilot for The Corporation of Noble Sentiments [TORAH].

Rhavas is primarily known for his publication of the Shattered Planets Datacore, one of the primary data sources on the effects and related sites connected to the Seyllin Incident. He is known to have been somewhat secretive about the process, and originally published it via Arvash, another capsuleer who acted as ghost-writer and ran interference for Rhavas on the topic.

Rhavas emerged in his own right in order to participate when Hilen Tukoss announced the Arek'Jaalan project. He currently is a research for Arek'Jaalan's Multidisciplinary, Talocan Technology and Sleeper Technology Divisions.

Political Affiliations

While Rhavas came up as a capsuleer under the Minmatar Republic, his political leanings are not clear, and he has made no efforts to directly drive the aims of the Republic itself, particularly against other Empires. It is suspected that his ties to Employer and Tribe are stronger than those to the Republic.

State Affiliations

Rhavas is known to have worked for and with only a handful of Republic state-run corporations. Specifically he has a known association with Administrative and Research staff of Boundless Creation and the Research staff of Core Complexion. He is also known to have worked briefly with Quafe Company and Native Freshfood during his capsuleer career, and with Thukker Mix and Kaalakiota prior to that time. It is believed that Thukker Mix nominated him for capsuleer training.

Tribal Affiliations

Rhavas is counted among the Minmatar Drifters, with a Vherokior mother and a Thukker father. He spent his youth growing up on Hodrold V in Metropolis, near the border between Minmatar Republic space and the Great Wildlands region.

His views on religion are unknown.

Education and Training

Rhavas enrolled in and graduated from the Republic Military School at Ammold, Heimatar and trained with the Republic Fleet in Hadaugago.

Corporate Career

Republic Fleet

Rhavas spent only a brief time working directly with the Republic Fleet after graduation. It was during this time that he built his associations with Quafe and Boundless Creation. He was also known to be one of the earliest capsuleers to begin planetary colonization efforts for resources.

Lupus Vires [GAROU]

Rhavas' first corporate combat training was via a small corporation in Derelik known as Lupus Vires. He is known to have flown numerous but unremarkable combat fleets during this time period. Much of his travel related to the Shattered Planets Datacore were also conducted during this time.

Eve University [E-UNI]

Rhavas spent an extended tour as a scout and combat pilot for Eve University's Ivy League Navy, graduating with a rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, recognizing numerous successful combat tours against the pirate elements of Metropolis, Essence and Sinq Laison. It is noteworthy that during this time due to Eve University standing restrictions, Rhavas pursued little direct investigation for his scientific pursuits. However, most of his records were published during this time, including publication of the Shattered Planets Datacore itself.

The Corporation of Noble Sentiments [TORAH]

Most recently Rhavas has been spotted in fleets with this corporation, largely a group of Eve University graduates. During this time he is known to have actively resumed his scientific endeavors and joined Arek'Jaalan. The group seems to have no fixed home, but often is found in Gallente, Minmatar or Thukker space. TORAH is closely associated with Future Corps [FCFTW], a wormhole corporation also composed heavily of Eve University graduates. They are dogged by rumors that behind the scenes they are on thin ice with CONCORD, but they deny that they are pirates, highlighting their higher security status and noting their ban on attacking unarmed vessels.

Scientific Career

Rhavas stumbled onto a scientific career, it is presumed due to his relationship with Boundless Creation. He himself has been known to state that he is an explorer first, and a scientist only by avocation. He is known to have traveled over a vast amount of both k-space and w-space territory in his Cheetah-class Covert Ops frigate, Wraith.

The Shattered Planets Datacore

Whatever the reason, he began researching the shattered planets caused during the Seyllin Incident which opened the wormholes. After months of travel and documentation, he produced the Shattered Planets Datacore and released it to the public. This document describes numerous findings of fact, controversies and theories around these planets, their creation and the science behind them.

Arek'Jaalan Participation

In July YC 113 Rhavas was invited to join the Arek'Jaalan team. He is actively working on the Multidisciplinary, Talocan Technology and Sleeper Technology divisions of that project. Rhavas is the Lead Researcher on the following projects:

• Project Catapult - Investigation of the methods that the Sansha use to create and maintain "violent wormholes" as attack vectors.
• Project Tesseract - The natural evolution of the Shattered Planets Datacore, it is investigating the details behind the Seyllin Incident, A0 Blue stars and Isogen-5. As part of this effort, Rhavas created the Official Shattered Planets page for Arek'Jaalan.
