Rek Jaiga is a pilot for the Teraa Matar organization. Born on 22 May YC092 on Khankenirdia II to Jotus Jaiga (father) and Krea Jaiga (mother). Records from the Ministry of Internal Order are not hard to find on Rek; he was born into slavery and served a minor Holder, a Lord Lankaan, who owned agricultural estates on Khankenirdia II. Exact details are harder to come by, but records indicate that Lankaan and his Holdings were destroyed in early YC110 after some sort of betrayal to the Mandate and Empire, after which Rek drops off the grid.
Rek resurfaces some months later, this time in Republic records applying for enlistment in the Republic Fleet. Rek's stint with the Fleet would only last through basic training and a brief assignment aboard a Rupture-class cruiser; at some point he entered the capsuleer program and was licensed on August 2, YC111.
