The Rattlesnake is a faction battleship available from the Guristas faction loyalty point stores, and a mission runner's ship if there ever was one. By combining the most attractive aspects of a Raven and a Dominix it can tank incredible amounts of damage without compromising its ability to deal superior DPS across a broad spectrum of damage types. Its 6/7/6 slot layout only cement its position as a versatile hybrid, allowing many different combinations of speed, damage, passive, active, short, and long range setups. Unfortunately its exorbitant price, reliance on drones and missiles, and ponderous speed make it unsuitable for PVP. Those fielding these ships against other capsuleers should make sure to have either good backup or an ample supply of replacement ships at their disposal. Anything less would make for a painful and embarrassing experience.
