Overview

RasNiMisk Industries is a friendly, tight-knit corporation comprised of mature players in the EU and US timezones who work to create an environment in which corp members can grow to reach their potential. The corporation participates in most activities available within Eve, with the exception of piracy. We believe that real-life matters should always come first and time spent playing Eve should be as enjoyable as possible! Our main goal is to enjoy the game working together as a corp so we can all get the most out of the immersive experience that is playing Eve-Online. Call us carebears if you wish, just be warned - we do have teeth!

History

The corporation was set up by three members of the Forge Shipyards Inc. [FSYI] corporation shortly after a group of the FSYI members approached Ras Algethi (then a director of FSYI) because they were disheartened by the actions of the CEO at the time. The name of the new corporation was created by amalgamating the names of the three founding members: Ras Algethi (Ras), Nimallon (Nim) and Miskleur Farben (Misk). Many different name combinations were tried, but "RasNiMisk" just seemed to have a nice ring to it!

During initial talks on the setting up of the new corporation, it was decided that we would be primarily a science and industry corp. As such, it was felt that a base in high security space would be required initially, then we would look to erect a POS that would enable us to perform blueprint research in our own labs. That way, we could avoid the lengthy queues in the NPC stations! After looking around for a suitable home, we decided to base ourselves in the Hentogaira system and since then have branched out and taken offices in several other systems. From our small beginnings, we have now achieved our initial goals and are proud owners of a POS, equipped with labs, constantly working to improve our ever expanding portfolio of blueprints, as well as creating copies of some of our capital component BPOs and selling them on either individually, or as BPC packs for freighters or Orcas.

Recruitment

The corp is currently accepting applications from all races (although be prepared for some light-hearted banter if you're a Gallente or Minmatar character). We are also a new-player friendly corporation and can offer you the benefit of many years of experience in playing the game. Once an application is submitted, we will consider it and may request an interview, or more information about your standings with the various factions and NPCs. We have worked long and hard over many years to develop our current high standings with the various factions and NPCs and do not wish to see that work undermined.

New Player Training

As was stated earlier, we are a new-player friendly corporation. We know how big Eve is and how much time it can take to get a grip on the basics, never mind the more advanced stuff! To get you started on your chosen career, we are prepared to spend time with working with you, showing you the ropes and suggesting training plans to get you on your chosen path. If you haven't yet made up your mind on which career you like the most, don't worry about it! Sometimes you just need to try a bit of everything first, just to get an idea of what it is all about...

The corp has an extensive portfolio of blueprints available for use and can supply individual members with BPCs so they can manufacture items of their own, either for personal use, or for sale on the open market. Members of the corp are able to produce most items in the Eve inventory including T1, T2, T3 ships, capital-class components, sub-capital and capital vessels up to and including supercarrier vessels.
