Overview

The Ralpha Dogs, also referred to as Rho Alpha Delta, are a corporation presently devoted to mining, manufacturing, and missioning activities in the Tash-Murkon region of New Eden.

History

The Ralpha Dogs were founded in YC110 by two capsuleers originally part of Chilled Solutions, LexxEva and Erbo Evans, in the wake of a mercenary corporation war declaration on the Cryogenesis Mining Syndicate that resulted in Lexx being podded. Erbo was responsible for the founding of the corporation, but passed the CEO position to Lexx as soon as she was able to join it.

The corporation was originally headquartered in Vilur in the Metropolis region, but has since moved its headquarters to Assiad in the Tash-Murkon region.

The corporation maintains a good working relationship with the Hauling Hogs, a former member corporation of Cryogenesis.

The corporation suspended activities in late YC111 and early YC112 due to economic difficulties, but it has since been reactivated under the leadership of two of its Abbots.

Corporate Background

The corporation's name and many of its titles and rituals (such as the welcoming speech given to new members) are directly adapted from the science-fiction novel The Cunning Blood, by Jeff Duntemann. In this novel, the Ralpha Dogs were an order on an extraterrestrial planet devoted to research and development (hence, the Greek letters "Rho Alpha Delta").

Duntemann, who is aware of and approves of the corporation's existence, has been named "Patron Saint" of the Ralpha Dogs.
