Quantum Industries (QI)

is one of the oldest corporations in EVE.

Associated entities: Prime Orbital Systems (alliance), Quantum Empire (corporation).

Current state of affairs

QI currently acts as a controlling entity for Prime Orbital Systems and recovery area for former members. It still has a solid member-base and dabbles in small-scale PVP and Wormhole Operations.

A brief history as far as it can be pieced together:

2003: QI is founded.

2004: QI takes part in the The Great Northern War as part of Phoenix Alliance

2004-2007: QI supposedly was active both in the North and South and involved in some of the mayor struggles.

2007: QI joins Interstellar Alcohol Conglomerate and starts a mayor recruitment drive. It is mostly known as a PVP entity.

2008: With IAC beginning to slowly loose it's foothold in Catch and quarrels in IAC leadership, QI joins RAZOR Alliance, supposedly because of old ties < 2007. Corporation Focus shifts fully to PVP.

It takes part in most of the mayor campaigns of the time, including the campaigns against The Greater BoB Community in Fountain / Querious and the North.

2009: QI members participate in the Alliance tourney as separate entity (Prime Orbital Systems).

2010: Burnt out by alliance warfare, QI leaves RAZOR and tries itself in Wormhole Operations and briefly joins Brick Squad in Curse in an effort to revitialize itself. The attempt is deemed a failure and QI enters a hiatus, keeping only a small active member-base of veterans and returning members.
