With conflicts ranging any where from two pilots fighting over a small group of asteroids to thousands of pilots and trillions of isk, the events within EVE are as varied as they are numerous. Within this history of constant conflict and constantly changing landscapes, certain events and series of events not only affect those involved, but the EVE universe as whole. Numerous large alliances gain power, territory and influence. Some succumb to their enemies on the battlefield while others fall to the infiltrators within. Through death, there can be life. Through conflict, there can be peace. With each event, small or large, EVE Online renews its community, its politics, its economy, and itself.
