Minimum requirements: Electronics 5

"The Pith's Penal Complexes are run by an Amarr captain called Dewak Humfry, commonly referred to by his previous prisoners as "Dewak the Insane" or "Dewak the Screaming". He is a fiercely disciplined tactician. After a prolonged stint of service in Imperial Navy forces, he decided to go into business in the private sector."

Pith's Penal Complex is a DED 8/10 ranked complex and while not the highest ranked DED site, should not be entered into lightly.

This complex can be done with two pilots. One in a logistic ship and the second in a hard tanked Command Ship.

Update - Can be completed SOLO in a well fitted Nighthawk

It's also possible to easily master this plex solo with an Ishtar.

Update: Keys(decoders) are not required, kill all npcs in room to unlock gates.

Room 1

"This deadspace pocket is where Dewak has built his so-called "Humane Aid Center". It is his term for a facility where prisoners are allowed some physical and social freedom. The rate of successful rehabilitation is quite considerable, and has somewhat suprised DED threat assessment units that have looked into the operation."

After using the acceleration gate you are thrust into a room protected by 4 Guristas Heavy Missile batteries; 1 Guristas Stasis Webification battery; 12 Battleship class; 10 Cruiser class; and 13 Frigate class NPCs.

Once the room has been cleared of all NPCs, you may activate the acceleration gate which will take you into the second room.

Room 2

"This corridor is used to guard prisoners that are deemed incapable of breaking out by themselves (and thus safe enough to contain in low-security facilities ) but are "connected" well enough to demand a high security deadspace pocket. Prisoners, brought here for rehabilitation, have their equipment confiscated by the authorities. Then it is "taxed" heavily to pay upkeep costs and it often leaves the prisoners without any belongings. Dewak keeps these taxes under lock and key, guarded by his number-one warden."

Your landing point, from the acceleration gate, into the second room is guarded by 4 Battleship class NPCs called Beacon Watch. This first group can be removed before starting upon any further groups.

There are 3 further groups to be dealt with, after this small group, that range in distance from 52km to 118km away.

There are approximately 12 Frigate class; 9 Cruiser class; 10 Battleship class; and 4 Heavy Missile batteries split between these 3 groups. Which can either be triggered by aggressing or getting into their proximity.

Room 3

Screaming dewak.jpg
"Dewak Humfrey travels frequently between all the Pith's Penal Complexes, but when he is around, this is where he'd be. This deadspace pocket is littered with victims jettisoned into space after having died in captivity in one of his prison/torture chambers."

Room 3 comprises 2 Groups.

Group 1 is comprised of; 2 Frigate class; 5 Cruiser class NPCs. This group is within 5km of the entry point and can be destroyed without causing the second group to aggress.

Group 2 is comprised of; 23 Frigate class; 19 Cruiser class; 11 Battleship class; and 1 Deadspace Overseer Battleship class NPCs. This group is approximately 50km away from the entry point.

The destruction of Group 2 could be achieved best by aligning away from the group and destroying the NPCs in order of hull size. Once the Frigate and Cruiser class NPCs have been destroyed, you can choose to either destroy all the Battleships, or simply destroy the Overseer.

More than 550 dps is needed to break 'Screaming' Dewak Humfrey's tank (shield).

You can run this last room by flying far from all NPCs. The 'Screaming' Dewak Humfrey's will go to you fast but if you are at more than 150km from his start point, he'll go back to it.

Flying fast and far enough will let you send your drones to kill all the frigates, and after that the cruisers and battlecruisers. At last, you can go put your DPS on each battleship.
