OverclockingOverclockingOverclocking your computer can cause problems, do so at your own risk! Players which are running EVE on computers which have been overclocked can in some instances experience issues caused due to the general system instability which often follows when computer equipment is overclocked. Examples of issues which can be directly attributed to overclocked processors, video cards and memory would be some client crashes, graphics glitches and even system crashes due to overheating. There are also instances of certain parts of the HUD not working as intended when EVE is run on overclocked equipment, notably the capacitor, shield, armor and hull indicators. Overclocking is done at your own risk and we do not recommend that you excessively overclock your computer without adequate cooling. Even when enough cooling is applied, overclocked systems have less stability than systems running at factory settings and you may experience general instability and some glitches while running EVE on an overclocked system. In-game losses incurred due to issues directly attributed to an overclocked system cannot be reimbursed. Top Contributors For This Page |
