History

OMNI Research Corporation was founded by Lockjammer to support the production corporation Consordium Infinate with High Tech research for their new line of Tech 2 ships. The first research laboratory was built in Amarr space, but shortly after the research facility was finished, Consordium Infinate withdraw their research contract and left OMNI Research without a contract. Orders where given to dismantal the research facility, and during the following month the new built facility was packed up for relocation to another system.

Decisions where made to move the corporation into Caldari space and the construction of an even bigger research facility started. This research facility was given the name OMNI Research Facility.

The corporation headquarter was also moved to Caldari space and a system called Kulelen was selected because of it's location close to the Gallente boarder.

Shortly after the new facility was ready, new customer started to request the corporations blueprint research and invention service. During the expansion of the research a even larger need of minerals and raw material did emerge.

Half a year after the founding of the corporation, a production department was founded to produce ships and equipment for the increasing customer demands.

To fill the growing need of rare minerals, decisions where made to put up a large mining facility in a null-sec. After a few month of operation of this mining facility a large hostile capital fleet attacked it and the facility was lost after 10 hours of combat.

The decision was made to start build a capital fleet to defend future facilities against attacks from hostile forces. The first capital ship that was built was the flagship Dark Horizon.

A year later the OMNI Research Facility did come under attack by a large hostile battleship fleet, the facility was doomed and couldn't be saved in time. After the loss of the last facility a decision where made to rebuild the corporation.

Activities

OMNI Research produce all type of tech 1, tech 2 and tech 3 equipment. All Buyers are confidential.

Structure

The corporation is ruled by a Board of Director. The CEO is the head of the Board of Director and have the final judging in matters. Each member of the Board of Director have their own department to control. The corporation have the following departments: Defense, Research, Logistics and Production.
